We consider the architectural sculpture ‚Parascapes’ as architectural art, a sculpture that plays with existing situations, the relation of interior, exterior and in-between spaces, and the dimensions of the vast abattoir area. Parascapes is both an existing and a newly generated spatial phenomena, it grows and floats around the built volume, pierces through existing structures, correlates with existing situations and spatial qualities, enhances them and creates new ones. Thereby it transforms the she sheep stables into an object of architectural art, the space into a symbiosis of sculpture, present spaces and surfaces. The sculpture is completely generated and designed with the computer. Thus the building process, the translation of the digital model into reality, is an important part of the project. Parascapes is both sculpture and usable architectural object.
