SPAR*K designs an installation for the exposed pier in Heiligenhafen for the Installationen Parcours hip(4). The sculpture connects and modifies the crossing paths of the pier. BLUE NOISE responds to given phenomena and spatial structures and transforms this structure by adding form and elements. It plays with wind, light and shadow and a contrasting materiality. Fabricated out of hundreds of Hoola-Hoop Rings, a newly defined space is created with extraordinary impressions and atmospheric density in a prominent position.
An organic and delicate net creates an independent structure as a woven in-between space. The rhythmic mesh creates a moiré-effect and changes the space during the day and creates an object of transparency and lightness.
BLUE NOISE is an architectural installation, an object out of ready-mades between structure and function and atmospheric, sublime installation. The structure presents itself as open or closed, depending on the point of view, it dissolves and rearranges again. Outside and inside become obsolete, structural elements such as wall, ceiling and floor are merging into the dynamic rhythm of BLUE NOISE.
