SPAR*K transforms 600 bumerangs

Within the context of the art event “nacht und nebel 2010″ the sculpture ” “See how SPAR*K is transforming 600 Boomerangs” is created.
SPAR*K works for this year’S art festival with the small-multiples principle and transforms PVC-Boomerangs into a space-creating stulpture: The boomerang as such is not recognizable anymore. The repetitive, continuous pattern of the joint boomerangs creates a permeable, spatial structure. The sculpture appears to be both organic, and static, as a faccade and as a partition, as a grown element and an architectural object flowing through the space.
Altogether, 680 boomerangs and 1500 blind rivets have been used.
