The Pension Stundenglück, a temporary hotel project, is created for the art and culture festival „Somewhere at water’s edge of river Spree“ of the Bachstelzen on the Spreestudio premises: individual hotel rooms can be rented on an hourly basis throughout the whole event. In collaboration with Saskia Cumpl, SPAR*K designs and builds KLF – one of the hotel rooms, a spatial sculpture completely in white. The given room size of the prefab building is radically ignored and a atmospherically dense installation is constructed. Wall, ceiling and bed merge with materials as plastic tubes, fabric and several light element into an endless spatial concept.
